Motivation Monday

Good morning folks!!  Happy Monday!!

I hope that you all had a fabulous weekend!!  I did and I'll recap later.

Today is Motivation Monday and today we'll be talking about healthy Super Bowl snacks.




















We really aren't big NFL football watchers here at our house. We are primarily interested in college football more than anything else. We probably will watch at least part of the Super Bowl because I like the commercials! :-)

When I think of "football food" I think of chips and queso, pizza, wings, etc. Quite honestly, none of that sounds very appealing to me. So we'll be doing a Mexican fiesta. I'm planning to fix turkey taco salads with homemade guacamole and Black Bean & Corn Salsa


If I splurge on anything, it will probably be a margarita!!  If I do, I will make it myself with fresh lime and orange juice to avoid all the sugar and calories in those pre made drink mixers. Those are usually full of sugar and I don't really like the taste of them.

  1. We will be watching, my son loves football, and he isn't too picky about who is playing if his teams aren't.

  2. Hmm yes we will be watching and I will probably pick something to enjoy a little bit more of than normal...but I don't know what the host is making! I will take hummus and veggies to make sure I have plenty to keep me full!
