Hello, hello!
I hope that you had a safe and happy New Year's Eve! We kept it low key this year. We stayed home and had some family over for dinner. Afterward, we played Farkle and Uno. I made it to midnight, but I was fading fast! I got up early yesterday and went for the first run of 2014. I did 4 miles in 44 minutes. It was a beautiful morning and I had a good run! The rest of the day was pretty uneventful.
I didn't make resolutions this year. Instead, I'm going to continue to focus on my ongoing goals of cleaning up my diet and routine cross training. I'll continue to train for my first marathon. Plus I've got a couple of new, exciting opportunities coming up soon....more on that later.
Today is the first day of the new Betty Rocker challenge. I loved the last challenge and I'm really looking forward to this new one.
I'm also planning to live outside of my comfort zone, because that's where life begins!
And that's just the beginning.......
;-)
Have a terrific Thursday!
Did you make any resolutions?
What are your 2014 goals?
One of my biggest goals this year is to not get injured!! I dealt with too many injuries last year... Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping for a healthy, injury free running year for you! :-)
DeleteWe play games with grandparents every New Years. My mom brought Rummikub and now my boys are addicted to it (we play a speed version, no taking turns, so it is fast and fun). We played Farkle at a family party after Christmas. So many great games out there!
ReplyDeleteI am a "comfort zone" gal ... REALLY bad and getting worse as I get older. I know I need to push it more, but it's just so dang nice and comfortable and I like it!
I hadn't played farkle in so long, I had to look up the rules! Ha!
DeleteI usually am a comfort zone gal too but the more I run, the more confident I become. It makes me want to take on new challenges!
